SUMMARY:18th DRESDEN POLYMER DISCUSSION: From particulate building blocks to functional soft matter assemblies
DESCRIPTION:\nThis meeting aims to discuss the state-of-the-art and future prospects in functional systems that derive from the assembly of small (nano- and micro-sized) particulate entities. New phenomena and functionalities may emerge from the suitable combination of particulate building units into more complex\, hierarchical soft matter assemblies\, which can go far beyond individual particle properties. Recent advances in synthesis\, self-assembly\, and additive manufacturing techniques have had a tremendous impact in this regard. These strategies enable the fabrication of scalable\, adaptive\, and functional soft matter systems with tailored optical and electronic properties\, to only name a few.\nTopics:\n\nSynthesis of colloidal particles\nMultiscale assembly\nOptical and electronic properties\nAdaptive and functional materials\n\n\nJetzt anmelden!
