SUMMARY:24/7 Realtime Surveillance System for Industrial Radio Frequency Bands
DESCRIPTION:In industrial automation\, wireless communication systems are widely used due to their multiple advantages over wired solutions. However\, mutual interferences between co-located wireless networks are very common\, because multiple wireless networks of the same or different wireless technologies share the same unlicensed radio frequency band without coordinating the access to the wireless medium. In order to achieve insights in the usage of the radio frequency bands and to identify upcoming disturbances\, we present in this webinar a surveillance system developed by Fraunhofer IIS/EAS for a permanent 24/7 monitoring of the radio frequency bands used for industrial wireless communication.
