SUMMARY:Advanced qualification of smart vibration sensors with 3D Doppler laser vibrometry
DESCRIPTION:Smart vibration sensors are often based on microelectronic sensors (MEMS)\, which are tested and inspected as components in production\, but in practice are mounted on a circuit board\, installed in a housing and equipped with additional electronics and a power supply. The finished sensor system therefore sometimes has completely different vibration characteristics than the individual sensor element. The webinar will show how 3D laser vibrometry is used to analyse the vibration characteristics of the overall system and identify any problems in the mechanical coupling.
