DESCRIPTION:Tec Talk Medical Engineering&nbsp\;regularly looks at state-of-the-art products\, the latest trends in research and development and innovative technologies for the development and manufacture of medical technology. This time\, the focus will be on the testing of AI systems in medicine&nbsp\;before market launch in order to ensure safety and performance&nbsp\;with a view to patients.\nThe testing of AI systems is used both for performance optimisation during development and for evaluation during the verification and validation phase. In the first presentation\, you will learn how tools for testing AI systems can be used sensibly and efficiently. A large-scale study by Apple on the cognitive capabilities of several state-of-the-art large language models (LLMs) and other publications suggest that the use of LLMs in medicine can be problematic.
